About these terms

These terms set out the conditions for using the tools on this site (image and text processing, conversion, date calculation, and look-up tools). By using a tool, you agree to them.

What is provided

This site offers image tools (resizing, compression, format conversion), text tools (counting, formatting, diff), conversion tools (romanization, Japanese eras, character codes), date tools (age, business days, calendars), and look-up references.

All tools are free and require no sign-up. As a rule, processing runs in your browser and your input and images are not sent to our servers. A few tools (such as the YouTube channel lookup) do communicate with an external service as needed; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Tools may be added, changed, or discontinued without prior notice.

No warranty on results

The figures and explanations produced by these tools are estimates and references. We make no guarantee of accuracy, currency, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Estimates such as advertising revenue depend heavily on assumed rates and methods and can differ greatly from reality. Do not rely on the displayed figures for official filings or contractual decisions.

Explanations of ceremonial etiquette, memorial dates, how to write family relationships, and romanization are widely known general examples. They vary by region, denomination, family, and the office you submit to; always follow the guidance of that office or temple or shrine.

Use image and text processing at your own risk, and keep a copy of the original files.

The operator accepts no liability for loss arising from use of this site.

Using what you create

Anything you make with these tools — family crests, fictional timelines, 8-bit sound effects, edited images — is free to use for personal or commercial purposes. No credit is required, and you may modify and redistribute it. There is no fee and no application.

Please note two limits. Because output is generated by a fixed procedure, another user may produce something similar; we do not guarantee that your result is unique or exclusively yours. If you need exclusive rights, such as a trademark registration, please confirm this yourself first.

We also do not warrant that generated output is free of third-party rights (copyright, trademark, design rights). Results resembling real crests or marks are possible, so please check before publishing or selling.

Rights to the images and text you provide remain yours. We neither acquire nor use them.

Prohibited use

Please do not place excessive automated load on the server, redistribute modified versions of these pages to third parties, or use the site for unlawful purposes.

Changes

These terms may be revised. A revised version takes effect when posted on this page.
