About this tool
Redact faces, addresses, license plates, and other areas entirely in your browser. Select a region by dragging on the preview or entering its position and size, apply mosaic or blur, and download a PNG or JPEG.
Drag across the preview to select a rectangular area. Left, top, width, and height can also be adjusted as percentages of the full image for precise placement.
Mosaic reduces the selected area and enlarges it into visible blocks. Blur blends nearby colors. For text that must be unreadable, use a strong mosaic and inspect the downloaded image at full size.
Processing stays inside your browser and nothing is uploaded. Images longer than 4,096 pixels are reduced for responsiveness. Keep the original file separately because the exported redaction cannot be reversed here.

- How do I select an area?
- Drag across the preview or enter left, top, width, and height as percentages of the full image.
- Will personal information be fully hidden?
- Use a strong mosaic and inspect the exported image at full size. A weak blur may leave text recognizable.
- Can multiple areas be hidden at once?
- One rectangle is processed at a time. For several areas, download and load the result again for the next region.
